My Story
I found my artistic voice again during one of the most confusing and terrifying times of my life. In May of 2022, everything changed when a work injury forced me into a new way of living. The next eight months were spent on disability, navigating an unclear diagnosis while trying to unravel the stress that had led to the injury in the first place.
During this time, I had to completely step away – sometimes unable to speak, often sitting in silence for hours, and even spending weeks without any digital exposure. At first, I simply stared at the wall, but eventually, I returned to the canvas. Painting became a way to unpack my thoughts, process emotions, and create new worlds.
While I still deal with anxiety, PTSD, and some cognitive challenges, I’ve found a new rhythm—a life that works in different but meaningful ways. Through this experience, I discovered a new career, splitting my time between healing others and creating art.
Art has been part of my life since childhood, and this period of transition brought me back to it in a deeper way. My creative journey has been shaped by a variety of experiences – from early exposure to art camps to later experimentation with pottery, woodworking, and painting. Each of these influences has contributed to my unique style and artistic approach.
As a Colorado native, I live with my wife in Green Valley Ranch in East Denver, where I continue to create and share my work. My art business has been designated as a “Trusted Art Seller” with The Art Storefronts Organization, ensuring that you can shop with confidence, knowing I stand behind the quality and value of my work.
